Overview
New for 2024, the Fender Custom Shop introduces the Limited Edition '54 Precision Bass® Journeyman Relic®, blending iconic appointments from multiple eras into a stunning bass. Its 2-piece select ash body is available in three eye-catching Journeyman Relic® lacquer finishes: Black Paisley, Pink Paisley and Blue Flower.
The one-piece quartersawn maple neck has a comfortable '55 Soft "V" back-shape with a 7.25” radius, 20 Medium Vintage frets and a bone nut for authentic mid-‘50s playability, while the combination of its Custom Shop Hand-Wound '55 Precision Bass® pickup and flatwound strings give players the thunderous low end and growling midrange that are specific to this era of P-Bass®.
Other features premium features include '55 Precision Bass® wiring, 1-ply parchment pickguard, 2-saddle vintage-style bridge, vintage-style tuning machines, disc string tree, deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
