Overview
New for 2024, the Fender Custom Shop unveils the Limited Edition '60 Tele® Bigsby® Relic®, brimming with classic Tele® twang from the bridge position pickup and sweet, full-bodied single-coil dynamics of a Jazzmaster® pickup in the neck. This limited release is offered in three gorgeous Relic® lacquer finishes: Sunset Orange Transparent, Natural Blonde and Faded Honey Burst—all over a two-piece select ash body.
The quartersawn 2A flame maple neck sports a '60s Oval "C" back-shape, flat-laminated rosewood fingerboard, 21 Narrow Tall (6105) frets and 9.5” radius for an incredibly comfortable playing experience and stunning looks. With the unorthodox combination of pickups, players get a heavy dose of ‘50s Telecaster® tone with a Custom Shop Hand-Wound '50-'51 Blackguard Bridge Pickup, and a taste of the ‘60s with a Custom Shop Hand-Wound Flat Magnet Jazzmaster® Neck Pickup. Like a rug that ties a whole room together, the Bigsby® B5 Vibrato Tailpiece brings the guitar into focus with expressive pitch bending right in the palm of the player’s hand.
Other premium features include Fat '50s Tele® wiring, 3-way switch, 1-ply parchment pickguard, RSD J-bridge, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut, wing string tree, deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
