Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Jason Smith's creation, Michiya Haruhata's signature model "Michiya Haruhata III Stratocaster Trans Pink," faithfully reproduced in the Made in Japan line.

We have successfully created an affordable model that meets the high demands of Michiya Haruhata, one of Japan's premier technical players and the first Japanese artist to receive a signature model from Fender.

The eye-catching flame maple top ash body is painted in vibrant trans pink and uses no pickguard, enhancing its refined elegance.

The 25.5-inch scale satin-finished Michiya Haruhata Soft V maple neck, reproduced using 3D scanning from the original instrument, features black dot position markers. The distinctive reverse large headstock is equipped with a locking nut for tuning stability.

The HSH pickup configuration supports Haruhata's signature hard yet emotional sound: the neck position features a DiMarzio® Air Norton™ DP193 humbucker for rich sustain, the bridge position has a DiMarzio® Fred® DP153 known for its tight and bright sound, and a Custom Shop Texas Special™ Single-Coil Strat® covering clear highs to tight lows is direct-mounted to the body, just like the original model.

The Master Tone with push-push function faithfully reproduces the unique feature that allows the neck pickup to be turned ON/OFF. The bridge uses a double-locking tremolo system to maintain tuning stability and preserve accurate tuning even during aggressive playing. This new model from Michiya Haruhata, who demonstrates exceptional talent through various activities including TUBE and solo work, incorporates his diverse ideas and supports a wide range of expression.
