Overview
Celebrating their 15th anniversary in 2021, this is the latest model from TOMOMI, bassist of SCANDAL, who has achieved success with numerous world tours and arena performances.
The body color features an original "Clear Fiesta" finish that maintains a traditional impression while allowing the wood grain to show through. Combined with a mint green pickguard, cream-colored pickup covers, and stacked knobs found on the very early JAZZ BASS® models from 1960-61, this creates a uniquely distinctive look never seen before.
An alder body and vintage-style bridge are selected, with Pure Vintage '64 Single-Coil Jazz Bass® pickups delivering the thick, robust classic tone. The neck incorporates modern elements including a Slim "C" grip similar to the American Professional II and a 9.5-inch radius for improved playability.
This Jazz Bass realizes TOMOMI's commitment by incorporating modern elements balanced within vintage styling, including a heel-cut 5-bolt neck plate that increases joint strength, and deliberately choosing non-reverse-wound Pure Vintage '70s with Fender® Logo tuning machines.
